Waimarie is a beachfront villa on Koh Samui and undoubtedly one of the island’s most luxury offerings, comprised of three large pavilions complemented by an inviting furnished outdoor sala.

Signature location

For many visitors, the sandy white shores and rolling emerald jungle of Koh Samui is simply the stuff that dreams are made of. For those that can’t get enough of the sublime tropical scenery and ocean vistas, a private villa is simply the only option when it comes to accommodation, and Waimarie luxury vacation rental is undoubtedly one of the island’s most luxurious offerings. Situated a mere 35km from the airport, the property is comprised of three large pavilions complemented by an inviting furnished outdoor sala. The island’s bustling tourist towns are close enough to visit, but far enough away to guarantee plenty of peace and quiet.

Signature features

Three large pavilions are nestled within Waimarie’s expansive landscaped grounds, which boast an enviable beachfront location overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. A total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms mean that this capacious property can accommodate as many as 14 people. All the extra communal living space both inside and outdoors makes it ideal for large get-togethers, corporate retreats and even weddings. Each of the double bedrooms adjoins its own spa-like haven of an ensuite, in addition to a private terrace with a plush day bed for lounging, making this the perfect accommodation choice for adults. Bunk bedrooms and a playground makes this a fabulous choice for families as well. The pool and private tennis court is ideal for family games with both little ones and teenagers who are in the mood to burn some energy.

Signature design

For guests that also want a taste of traditional Thailand whilst staying in Koh Samui, Waimarie is the ideal villa. A striking natural materials palette of polished teak and carved stone is used extensively giving the property instant design appeal. Authentic Asian art and statues are peppered throughout the property, creating an attractive and uniquely-decorated backdrop to the stay. Lush tropical greenery and vivid blooms add an exciting splash of colour to Waimarie’s décor scheme, complementing the plush Thai lounge furniture. Each of the pavilions boasts glazed bi-fold doors which can be opened wide to entice the fresh sea breezes. Indoor areas sit flush with outdoor terraces, blurring the connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Signature services

The day at Waimarie always starts with a fabulous meal, which can be prepared by the property’s on site Thai chef, who is also available to cook lunch, dinner and even prepare picnics for you to take to the beach. Private cooking lessons can be arranged to take place in the villa’s very own open plan kitchen. Should the desire to explore take hold, the concierge service will be able to arrange tours and excursions to other parts of the island, whether you fancy kayaking in the Ang Thong Marine Park or going on a shopping trip to Bophut Fisherman’s Village. There are five resident staff in total, who are there to replenish supplies and keep the villa fresh and tidy throughout the stay. Babysitting services are also available, along with in-villa spa treatments by a professional masseuse.
